Rue Saint-Dominique is a shopping street located in Paris 7th arrondissement near the Eiffel Tower, known for the quality of its old-fashioned shops. It is so called since 1631. Its name is due to the Dominican religious who settled there that time. It has replaced a road formerly called chemin de la Longue Raye in 1355, Chemin des Vaches, Chemin de la Justice and Chemin des Charbonniers. For a time, we distinguished a Saint Dominique Saint Germain street on one side and a Rue Saint Dominique du Gros Caillou on the other side of the Esplanade des Invalides.
We offer several hotels close to the rue Saint-Dominique (street) in Paris.
