La Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris (The International University City) is located in Paris 14th near Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre, Montsouris Park and Porte d’Italie is a work of intellectual and moral rapprochement between the youths of all classes, nations it hosts. It owes its existence to the imagination of a French disappeared, André Honnorat former Minister of Public Instruction and Fine Arts who, with the help of Jean Branet, State Councilor and David Weill, banker and generous sponsor, isolated land on the outskirts of Paris, constitute the magnificent area of 40 hectares of which the Universities of Paris are proud. The first foundation, which bears the name of the donor Émile Deutsch, was opened to students in 1925, Paul Appel was then Rector of the University of Paris. The International City now houses nearly 6,000 students. It is the property of the Universities of Paris.
